  • Once you pass the entrance exam and are approved as a qualified applicant, you can seek employment with any of our union-affiliated contractors in sheet metal fabrication and installation, HVAC Service, or Testing Adjusting and Balancing. If you and the contractor find it’s a good fit, the contractor can hire you as a pre-apprentice or sponsor you directly into the apprenticeship.

As a Local 104 member, you’ll have ongoing access to free continuing education—including training on the latest technologies like heat pumps, advanced controls, and high-performance systems. It’s like having lifetime access to college-level courses, at no cost, as long as you remain in good standing.
