This course introduces the fundamentals of detailing, with a focus on Bluebeam and Autodesk Revit. Students will learn essential tools, navigation, and basic design concepts used in the field and office.

The course provides a strong foundation in how construction projects are developed using BIM (Building Information Modeling), along with an overview of the detailer’s role in trade coordination and design. By the end, students will have a clear understanding of the detailing career path and the skills needed to get started

 

Requirements

  • Starts August 2026

  • Ends December 2026

  • Every Wednesday 4:30pm-8:30pm

  • Active Local 104 Member

  • Sheet Metal Installation experience required

  • Addtional Details will be released once we get closer to the class
