This course introduces the fundamentals of detailing, with a focus on Bluebeam and Autodesk Revit. Students will learn essential tools, navigation, and basic design concepts used in the field and office.

The course provides a strong foundation in how construction projects are developed using BIM (Building Information Modeling), along with an overview of the detailer’s role in trade coordination and design. By the end, students will have a clear understanding of the detailing career path and the skills needed to get started.
